I went into the merch too much - bought a GB replica t shirt and a very nice purple hoodie - aobsolutely brassic now so will have to cut back for a bit. Still, I didnt buy much food so thats a saving! LOL

Bought a Buff, and if you want to separate me from my money all you need to do is produce a custom Buff.

Also bought a Clif bottle with the intention or regularly topping it up for free, but only did so twice.

DeeGee - oh dear, I'd forgotten about the Thunder Run buff I also bought. Not sure how "limited edition" they were but I like Buff's, I love anything thats red so it was an easy sell!

At least i ran that 1st hill a bit more this year. I'd like to say I walked it for filming purposes but when I took that video it was my 4th lap last year and I was totalled.

That hill went on forever. Just when you thought it had flattened out it went round a corner and then up again.

I'm sure that first hill went on further this year - I don't remember it going uphill again last year! and last year we didn't have that rapid descent to the road and back up again! Although the course was lumpier this year I definitely preferred it.

i saw something somewhere the other day- it was the official race photographer link saying photos up thursday but now i cant find it?? anybody know?
