i'm using the time to write a short story. it's about a homeless man looking for shelter in the rain (I know, sounds like a laugh a minute, doesn't it). In honour of the fact i'm only writing at this time to wait for 23:59 I'm going to make a reference to thunder so when you all rush to Waterstones to buy a copy you can feel that you were there during its creation.

seriously, is there any reason they couldn't have started to take bookings 12 midday and not 12 midnight????

I'm guessing as that is a time when the majority wont be at work so more people free to enter and not imoinging on a working day?
