Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Our cats get Sainsbury's own brand food, although they'll eat whatever they get fed generally.

Ours eat raw once a day and have royal canin and some grain free biscuits for the rest - ours were already being fed raw when we got them, and it works for them. Raw sounds expensive but not so much, they'd eat way more wet standard food.

Pepper just turns her nose up at proper food such as chicken or fish. The texture has to be right as well - nothing smooth such as pate and doesn't do gravy - well actually just licks the gravy off and leaves the rest!

Bib went out for an hour again. I was much calmer about it this time. She didn't go far and popped home to check we still want her. On the way back she discovered the mini shed makes a handy platform.

Raw needs to be balanced like any other food - so some ground bone as well (not just raw mince from the shop). There are quite a few online retailers of raw pet food (Natural instinct, Purrform, Nutriment and others)

Echo mostly has the cheap Lidl stuff. We tried her on more expensive stuff but she seems to prefer this. She does like their cat pate, though, and would sell her soul for cat sausages. Most days she has a bit of wet cat food for breakfast & dinner, and a bowl of dry biscuits she can graze on.
