Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

hi decor

no issues about St Helena coffee - it just it so small scale and remote

I lived on Ascension Island for 2 years and a highlight of the week was a fish cake and a Sainty coffee (local) at the only cafe on a Saturday morning.

A good brew is a good brew. And, like most scents, the smell of an old favourite can almost transport you through time and space :-)

I sincerely hope so - just paid something akin to the price of gold for those memories

just need to source a nice bit of tuna for the sainty fishcakes and it could be worth it!

Ah Croc. What I meant was that Antony Wild works in and writes about coffee. There are links to his book/s on the St Helena site, as relevant to coffee generally. (He may have written about St Helena in one of his books.)

I love the sound of the St Helena beans and their provenance.

Coincidentally Waitrose Italian beans are on offer!

I can't afford to buy at the mo' as I'm on my £15/week thing until my debt's paid off. ahandfulofbeansblog.wordpress.com

(Not coffee beans in this instance; kidney this week.)

"... how much of this coffee do I need to put into *insert chosen method here* to make a good cup of coffee?"

Yeah ... want God's phone number while I'm answering that one?
