I had to leave the thread a few weeks ago as I was baking too much and putting on weight (!) but I've popped back as it's getting to baking time of year.

That cake looks amazing, Cyclops!
The flowerpot breads look so good - very impressive.

I made my Christmas cake a few weeks ago and steamed the puddings today, using St Delia's recipes. I've not made mincemeat this year but will be attempting a stollen when we get to December - I've not made one before.
I went to Tesco yesterday and they had all the ingredients in that I needed; there doesn't seem to be a shortage at the moment.
