Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Nellers, you will run out of space for new flowers eventually, it doesnt take long so having a few routes helps.

My weekend ride is different every week but my Tuesday or Thursday mornings are, by necessity, about the same route pretty much every week. I'm only getting out a couple of times most weeks, along with 3 runs which are a bit more local.

And actually I might be on a bit of hiatus for a few days. My knee is a bit sore and swollen after my ride which is a new one for me. Rest and keep an eye on it for a couple of days I think.

Nellers, are you clipped in or using platforms? In you are clipped in just check your cleats for positioning and float. Either way also your check seat position for height, slope and position for and aft. You may find it's moved or as you have done more cycling your position and/or flexibility has changed. Hope it improves quickly

ftrobbie - is there a maximum density of flowers then? Not played seriously enough for long enough to have noticed before but was planning to up my game so may be important

You can only have a flower every 80m, so you can get circa 10 every halfmile. The Fetchpoint world is built on a 80m grid. Vancouver jogger and I had a discussion a while back. You need to be able to get the half mile to start in a different place every run to benefit. So living in a city I use different north south blocks to get that Route variation. In more rural settings the roads don’t always help you out

Thanks! I'll be paying more attention to that for sure. I suppose it'll be a sort of weighing up when it's more efficient to go elsewhere or keep watering too.

Clip-ins, FTR, but they're the same and in the same position and shoes that I've had for a while now. It's probably more about how my flexibility has changed than anything, or maybe I tweaked it running yesterday and didn't notice.

Either way first order of business is to rest it and let it settle.

It is a bit annoying when you are this close!

Luckily I will go past this way on the way to a freedom parkrun so I should still get the bug before midnight UK time.

Second time in a week I have thought I have hit a bug and missed it. More concentration required.
