Too Much Water
Iād have a forward as skipper. Curry too green, Itoje may not be ready either despite this being his 4th year of rugby. Does Launchbury command a starting position when everyone is fit?

Fin Russel maybe just came of age. There was an interesting comment from Gregor T about his half-time talk. Guys... we've lost the match so let's win the 2nd half, play for pride and have fun. Scotland played their own game just as England took their foot off the gas. England lacked leadership just as Scotland gained leadership.
Oh..and remember last year when we kicked white-shirted butt (ok, it doesn't happen often so we have to take what we get)....oh and remember the World Cup, Scotland in the QFs while England had already gone home....maybe this was due?

Has anyone seen Craig Joubert referee a match in the last few years? Sold his soul and his career that day.
Just saying, like......

It was interesting to note that things did change when Ford came on (note Jones took Farrell off rather than pushing him into the centre), whether that was because he had been given Plan B or because he can think on his feet we'll never know. I don't think Ford is the long-term solution though as he has weaknesses of his own - mainly that anyone over 13 stone can run straight through him and his kicking often goes wayward.
Watched the Red Roses game last night. Those ladies deserve far more media coverage than they are getting as they were awesome. Sealing a grand slam with an 80-0 demolition of the Scots was class. They also have some proper leaders - listening to them speak after the match was a world-apart from the Farrell interview.

Yes. Farrell off. Tells me there was a plan B and Farrell couldn't execute it, as against Wales.
Wales will not win the World Cup, no northern team will. The 6 nations proved that.

It's not the first time Farrell has been replaced by Ford, and he doesn't appear to be any more of a captain than Farrell to me.
Agree about the media coverage of the women's team, it's outrageous! And this was their first 6 Nations as professionals too

It's very poor. Cricket is doing so much better.

Trin - agreed. Ford's no skipper, but I think he has a bit more up-top to allow him to react on field to changing circumstances. Not sure there is any obvious captain amongst the current line-up.
