Damian Hall and his team have done a great job and unlike last year managed to do without upsetting the runners. Shame the weather meant that they couldn't use the drone as much as they'd hoped it was producing some great stuff early on.

The organisers deserve commendation for taking a lesson on board and getting it right.

Sarah Williams had a very slow night over the Cheviots and was overtaken by the French girl, but seeing as she incurred that three hour time penalty she has actually come fourth rather than second. Rules are rules, but this seems terribly hard doesn't it?
