I grew up with a first name that was considered well out of order in the area we lived in, even among my immediate family (though clearly not my parents, who were the ones who chose it). It didn't turn me into a delinquent; I have been fortunate enough not to have to live off benefits at any point in my life despite not coming from money in any quantity or marrying it; I'm not in debt and I have a job I like that pays reasonably well. I suppose I could be an aberration...or something
