Nessie
My prediction:

2 soap actors
1 (or possibly 2) YouTube "stars"
An ex-politician

A newsreader/Breakfast TV presenter
2 retired sportspeople
A reality TV person
A well known LBGT personality for the first same-sex partnership
Someone who's been in I'm a Celebrity
A couple of almost forgotten 80s/90s slebs
The guy who had to pull out this year
A token foreigner

Has Vernon Kay ever done it? He would be the right height for Luba or Nadia.....

I was underwhelmed by the "star"iness of this year's handful, the pickings are getting thinner and thinner each year! Nessie's list is about right.

How about celeb runners that would be good to see in it?

Tony Audenshaw would be a pick I'd want to see (Emmerdale, Marathon Talk, "proper runner", musical so no issues with rhythm). Sophie Rayworth? Lots of scope for VTs of them doing a little dance at the end of a parkrun or a race etc.

@macca - imagine the press excitement that they could get the first "curse of strictly" to affect both a dancer and the main presenter!!

If Nigel Farage is signed up I will never watch Strictly again! Just giving the BBC fair warning ;-)

I would think the bloke who pulled out injured this year is probably guaranteed a place.

They'll probably have someone from radio as well - I'd love it to be Ken Bruce......

It seems to me that despite having a CBBC, YouTuber and Radio 1 presenter this year the audience they hope to reach with them is either not watching or not voting given the number of times those individuals ended up in the dance off.

I would have thought it was pretty obvious that you tube fans don’t watch TV(almost by definition)! 🤷‍♂️. Radio 1 fans similarly watching you tube or Netflix. Not sure about CBBC fans though.....
