I'm about 13 miles from the location and it's not that bad here either, just a bit drizzly. Nothing us hardcore runners can't withstand ;-)

Silverstone is a bit for just a 10k... I do need to find a race to sort out my rather soft current PB tough.

You are right about being able to get the short distance races in very regularly D2D... I think recovery from a 10k takes about 15 mins. :)

Can someone confirm there will be a secure baggage area? I know Mick you have said I can leave stuff in a hanger... but I just rang Silverstone and they said no lockers will be available and no info desk apparently. As much as I love to trust people, I don't and don't really want to leave my stuff on the hope that it'll be there when I get back! I can just leave stuff in the car but it will mean carrying all my change in my hands and then shivering before the race :-)
