The corners on the track are of incredibly tight radius and must slow anyone down (except the very elderly).

I wouldn't pay £24 to race a mile but only because I can race it for cheaper, if that was the market, I wouldn't have much choice. I wouldn't pay £1 to run a marathon though so I don't judge race value by £/mile. Legends ran track miles on an oval track though so this is BS. |

The course is hardly well-designed. So the 'budding four minute miler' won't stand a chance of getting close to that time as the corners are ridiculously tight including U-turns. It's as bad as organising a running event in a warehouse and expecting people to fork out an unreasonable sum for the privilege.
