Car showing no errors in the fault log meaning it doesn't believe it has done anything wrong or has any problems with the collision detection system.

Worth noting on the parking is that all sensors remain active while the car is in reverse - the car may apply the brake if a car passes the *front* of the car closely and/or at speed.

The Toyota mechanic was very reassuring that the car has no fault and was acting as it is designed to, even though it may have seemed to have been behaving erratically at the time.
