I think I could muster a proper run for the last half mile even if it is steeply uphill. What a cruel finish! But otherwise quick.

Anyone done or doing the marathon on the Goodwood Race Circuit? Same day Sun 16 Sep. It's an hour or so from my sister near Brighton. Is a 5km race circuit flat? 8 plus laps, presumably?! :-) G

Is it? I assumed it was on the actual race circuit? Isn't it a car race track? Didn't actually look! :-) G

I've run at Knockhill race circuit (TOCA touring cars) here in Scotland and it is NOT flat! Seriously lumpy 2 mile laps. I can't find any elevation for this one... it says tarmac and smooth but doesn't say flat!! :-) G

Goodwood is famous for the hill climb isn't it?

From Wkipedia: The track has an elevation change of 92.7 metres, for an average gradient of 4.9%.
