Steve thanks for your post I thought this was a female menopausal problem but then again until I had the bone scan I was clueless...
Delighted to hear you are flying again.
I am happy to be running again but I am starting to cycle again too and walking is always great ( just takes longer) :-)
Good luck Mandy with seeing your specialist I guess it may be on hold at the moment.
As to the alcohol think i'd rather give up running :-)
Keep on keeping on!

Mandymoo
Have just had my falls clinic on line consultation with a very nice helpful falls clinic nurse

Have been put forward for the annual infusion, so need to have some bloods tests done then it will be full steam ahead.

She is sending me links for my diet, and what the doctors told me was incorrect re having to have full fat stuff. She has also told me to keep running as much as I can so that's good too 😁

Good news Mandymoo. Please pass on any diet tips!

Keep us posted.
If I can get to Nov 28th I’ll go a calendar year Since my last fall ( touching wood)

If this covid stuff ever ends I’ll try and see if there’s a way of monitoring my deterioration but for now I pretend it’s all ok 😁

Pestomum?
I’ve not had a fall but I had a bone scan as a catch up coeliac check in (which apparently should have been annual, but I’ve not had one for over a decade) I have mild osteopenia and have been given the calcichew, advised to keep running :-) and back next year to see.

Apparently if you’re coeliac you should be given calichew as a matter of course. A lot has changed since I was diagnosed, so it’s worth checking in with your GP just to see what’s current advice.

Got something to say?
