The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

It is a little ironic that for the fourth time this week I have been absolutely soaked to the skin when out on my run when the south of England is facing a hosepipe ban - go figure! we have lots of water up here in bonny Scotland if you want some - we will be happy to swap rain for some sunny, dry weather - I am not greedy just a few days would do! :) thon intact!

Ooooh that sounds wet JaneyM. I saw a grey cloud today but we didn't get more than a few spots of rain.

I stayed dry on mine - with the buggy post big lunch an beer half day :-o Was nearly calling off.... was going to wait till 11pm an see how I felt but OH convinced me to take the running buggy while collecting Wee Man from nursery and.... well... 5k ish done!

Went out for a titchy one mile run today - not got a lot of time today but still thon intact! And more to the point - IT WASN'T RAINING!!! My shoes are still soaking from yesterday's downpour. :)

I missed Parkrun - a perfect still an cool morning too doh! So did a buggy 5k-ish along the prom an was rained on :-s Not soaked an dried off with cake an coffee so no at all bad :)
