Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I have some of the new Mudclaw 300s, I love them, they're great. Wouldn't want to wear them for too long on hard surface though.

Have been using Salomon Speedcross 3s as my lite-fell/trail shoes - they're great over a range of surfaces and super-comfy, but the uppers go very quickly on them, unlike the SC2s which lasted ages. Might try some Inov replacements at some point. Need them to be comfy though.

Can only wear Mizuno WaveRiders for road - they are just made for my feet. Love them to bits. Shame they're so expensive.

Sport Pursuit have some phenomenal bargains for Inov8s at the moment. Sportsshoes.com also have some models at half price.

Have to say the Oroc 350s are very tempting - need a pair of Oroics for O at some point. Bit worried that 350g might be a bit heavy though. The 340s I tried felt very heavy. The MC300s are heavy enough!

I might be persuaded to match that price, idio.
What size are you after?

I fancied some Orocs too, Fozzy. I've got some of the original metal-posted Inov8s (the ones they did before Orocs) which I loved for running in snow and ice, but one of my daughters borrowed them and walked on tarmac in them and pushed the metal posts into the soles :(

And anyway, I have a couple of pairs of Mudroc 280s which I bought when they were discontinued, and could knock some tacks into one of those.

V'rap - I think it's the law that if you get a pair, you need to start doing some orienteering. ;-)

If I hadn't just spent a fortune on bike stuff over the past few weeks, plus a new road bike imminently looming, then I'd have snapped up the bargain from sport pursuit.

Will sleep on it and have a think I think.

Six pairs in the hall, including Orocs, just counted. I guess that makes me a fan. I believe I have a spare pair somewhere too.
