Had a great day today!

After being a bit injured and out of love with running for the last few weeks, I got a lot of confidence back being able to complete this off of no endurance training at all. It's sucha sociable event :)

Great to see Lumsdoni, Deegee, Max and London Nici as well as run with Curly, SpeedyMel and Joe Hawk :)

Good to see everyone today. Felt it was harder than last years. We did ok, ROb started to struggle around 19miles so we walked a fair bit towards the end 6:14 for us.

My only worry this was all the busy roads, the route was better last year, but am sure it will be back to the usual level next time. Off out for a recovery jog soon, legs were fine on the bike commute today which is pleasing 😊

well done to everyone for getting around 😁

Curly45 - Did you think it was harder this year? I thought there was more climbing...

Hmm I thought it was easier and less climbing! Must have been the shandy 😏 Firmer ground too and a lot more road stuff than claggy fields previously. They did say some people got into trouble last year so that could explain the loops route this time.

LOL. Funny how we remember things. Having said that I've recovered far quicker this year.

Got something to say?
