Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Indeed, Grepster. Is it also the end of Diocesan Synodery for the day yet?

Yes, finished at 15:00. I still maintain that 6 hours of diocesan synod is less dull than 2 hours of deanery synod.

As long as you feel it got somewhere then a meeting is probably worth it.

So this week:

FT: Below par
TNS: As ever, some good bits but insufferable smug. And Mr Mitch Benn was terrible
Mark Watson STTN: Poor
COTW (the radio mash up thing): Unlistenable.

As Punt and Dennis used to say, "It's been a bad week"

I fear I must agree. I listened to FT and TNS and already can't remeber anything about them, that Watson thing last week was limp so I didn't bother this week, and the COTW thing doesn't appeal.

Ah well. Kermode today.

I can't help thinking that the Flappy Hand Man is actually a teenage girl in a man's body.

I thought so too, Greg. He's not aloud to criticise the poppy thing, see, so he didn't do that.;-)
