The wind was fine, not bad at all.
Happy with my return to racing, and to be back home having a coffee by 12.30

Had a fab run. Never seen any Fetchies apart from meeting up with Nywanda at the MacMillan tent. Loved the course and would do it again. Well done everyone

Breaking the law (a little bit) to get our flight back to the motherland. Enjoyed the course, only held up a couple of times: mental traffic!! Last 2 miles were tough but only cos of barging thru. Sea breeze was quite refreshing! Didn't spot many fetch tops: oceanspirit, shintwigs (briefly), unidentified red haired lad about 200m ahead of me on orange wave and of course kimbles.

Good evening folks. I saw very few Fetch tops (said hello to a lady with Bertie on her back as we left the dockyard) but still thoroughly enjoyed the day. I finished in 1hr 26min so a 17 min PB
How did the rest of you get on?

PW for me...but then again I didn't plan on getting a PB as I haven't done much training for this and I just treated it as a training run to go out and enjoy. Especially as I am now banned from running until friday. Good to meet nywanda and pinkliverbird pre and post race.
