I am in for Spring '22 as I'm currently away otherwise I'd be there. Definitely worth snapping up as the ballot is fairly tight from what I gather.

The buzzy one and I are nowhere near being ready to have a decent go at the Fred this year. Having done it once on a solo bike and twice on the tandem, I'm not sure I need to do it again.

I watched a few YouTube videos of it and decided it would be an extremely long day of me walking alongside my bike up very steep bits of tarmac. Having recreated John Hurt's scene from Alien at the weekend up a category 4 climb that peaked at 13% I don't think the Fred Whitton will be in my future any time soon. |
