Mrs Winkle
So, for Seville she did 7.45mm and then "walked with purpose" - by only walking for 30 seconds your legs don't stiffen and your heart rate remains high. That averaged out at just under 8mm. So yes, run parts are a bit quicker then PMP. For my LSR yesterday, I ran at about 8 - 8.20mm when usually I'd be nearer 9, the walk breaks bought the average down to about 8.41 ish.
She has said that if you run, then do walk breaks you've already tired your legs out so it can be harder to get going again, whereas by doing it from the start your legs will feel better, and you need less nutrition.

The Terminator is Premier League
It certainly has been a bit of an epiphany for me doing it for last few weeks. Think it is a huge mental filip too, especially if walking every 4.5 minutes, crikey anyone can run for 4.5 minutes right.....

Hey runners, if you haven't already emailed your requirements for Fetchpoint, please do so asap - send an email to fetchpoint@gmail.com. That would be very much appreciated.
Hope you're all doing well, practising eating jelly babies, swigging water, and the all important running bit too.

Thank you for the encouragement fab team four
I think I might have to look into the concept of a run/walk strategy based on time as opposed to miles - I have been aiming for short walk breaks to refuel every four miles or so but to be honest I am not sure how refreshed it made me! Perhaps I need to have more frequent but shorter walk breaks!
Failing that I reckon I can do the approach of running 18 or so miles and stumbling through the rest

Haha Mrs Winkle it can't have been so bad then as you carried on to do that many!! Or is it like childbirth - agony that is soon forgotten?!?!?
I seem to be alternating good LSR's and really hard LSR's currently but I am ever the optimist
SherryB I have sent through my requirements, although I have yet to sort a photo. I will get onto it ASAP (need to buy myself a new running top!)
