Knowing that you can't edit your posts means you think more about what you're going to say ~ I've seen editing on other forums lead to whole sentences/paragraphs being deleted and the context of replies being completely distorted Plus ... many of the slight spelling mistakes have become part of the wider forum use (waves fish) ~ to me it's part of the site's signature
