I think this is part of my point, Glenners - and it comes back to the duck test and its possible failings.

JLW plays a nice 'cello, and I'm prepared to accept that ALW has an ear for a good tune. I have no real evidence of twittery with either of them. However, they both waddle and quack like ducks and hence The People assume them to be ducks. Or twats.

That took some working out. I'm laughing now.

My darling husband's fave verse - which he quotes with enthusiasm whenever I ask him to get me something from the kitchen is "woe to you, you cows of Bashan who sit on your couches saying bring me food" - wording might be slightly off as I don't have the proper reference here.
