Last year I followed people on-line successfully - but it doesn't have many reference points. Can't remember if it was 5km, 10km, 10m and finish, or whether it was only 10km, 10m and finish.
Latest weather forecast is looking really good - but that could all change between now and then.
It's amazing that they still have Arriva Trains as an official partner, when not a single train arrives in Cardiff before 11am on a Sunday.
A friend of mine will be manning the 3 mile water station, so if you could all shout "Come on shift your lazy arse" at all the volunteers there, that would be great..............at least that's what he shouts at me whenever he sees me at a half marathon, so I'm sure it will be fine.

I agree with you about the Trains WildeRover - apparently we're all supposed to stay in hotels!

Very sad not to be doing it this year, have been plagued by injury over the last few months. Hope everyone has a great day and the weather stays good for you all. A little tip for anyone looking to park in sofia gardens take someone with you who is not running so they can queue up to pay.

Cardiff parkrun this morning virtually deserted due to the Cardiff Half tomorrow, why can't it be like this every Saturday? No blocking of the path, no shouting at people to get out of the way of cyclists determined to go as fast as possible through a crowd of people, no runners harrassing walkers, don't recall seeing a set of headphones and certainly wasn't blocked by any such people oblivious to their surroundings.

Do the different coloured waves go off at a certain time, or do they just like to get you over the line asap? I'm trying to work out what time to get in to the 'Diff for from my mum's house in Pencoed.

Was the 10 mile timing mat in the wrong place? Times from 10km to 10 miles show everyone just starting to feel it......then 10 mile to finish all a bit superhuman. I guess that must be the case, because it holds for the elites as well.

Not sure WildeRover, mine seems about right.
Really enjoyed the race today, perfect conditions and I managed under 2 hours for the first time in 5 years. Very pleased! The other half got a nice PB too.

Lovely day today..a PB by 6 seconds.. perfect conditions, not too warm and hardly any wind, even over the Barrage where I thought it could get windy. The course was interesting, with good support out and really nice and flat. Nice shirt, nice goodie bag and the medal wasn't too bad either..really enjoyed the whole experience! Mrs monsenb1 was taking pictures and she spotted three additional fetchies and took pics of them.. I will post them later..
