Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Can't find a thread for this race, is anyone doing it?

I may travel down for this one, I usually Sarfend 10k (nice & flat, along the seafront), but am doing Locj Ness Marathon on that date, this one seems similar, and gives me a few weeks to recover from the Maraathon and train to get that elusive sub50

I did it least year - definitely recommend it for PB hunters... very fast flat course - wind on the seafront is the main problem!

Yes. It is a great race. Loads of us met up last year afterwards too. Mrs S and I are doing it again this year. For the third or fourth time I think.

Great course for a PB is the weather is just so and the bliddy promenaders stay out of the way.

I'll be there - like Snapstinget will be 3rd or 4th time at this one. Big attendance so shame they don't do better job marshalling the Sunday morning strollers out of the way. One poor girl came a cropper tripping over a yappy dog that the useless owner hadn't kept out of the route. KM markers bit sparse too but is fast so worth the trip (no pun intended).

Did it last year as my first race - super PB course!

Agree with the dodgy KM markers and annoying pedestrians too - keep your eyes peeled for them...
