Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

No pasta for us as we're with Magpie's parents so I'll be doing risotto for tea ;)

Nothing booked yet, something central and safe, but open to suggestions.

Central and safe? Requiring central I can understand, but "safe" as a criterion? This IS Brighton we're talking about. Unless the homosexual community has become particularly uppity recently I don't imagine safety will be a problem.

Yes, the last thing you want is to get stabbed from behind if you aren't expecting it!

Safe in terms of what the food is. I require bland pizza/pasta the night before the race.
A couple of years ago I had a very nice seafood meal the night before Edinburgh. There are few decisions I regret as much as that one!

There's a Pizza Express in the Laines somewhere. Or we went to a really good Italian just off Regency Square last year.

That's the kind of thing. Might have been a Carluccios last year.
Pleasant, but zero risk of 'upset' the next day.
Definitely no curries.

Does anyone have a spare room available at all (will pay of course), I don't have any accommodation planned for Brighton. I'm quite normal (as runners go) I promise. Otherwise I'm kipping in my car the night before!

Pre-Race for the regulations Fetch Photo, please assemble outside the massive white tent in the middle of Preston Park.

As you look up the park (it's a slope) we shall be congregating on the right hand side of said massive white tent... the information and lost sprogs tent, it is close to the Pavillion...very close.

Group Photo 08:15?

Post race, we are heading to the Hop Pole pub.

Have a cracking race, see you all on Sunday.
