Two batches of scones made and Victoria sponge about ready to come out. Hopefully in a few days we’ll be stocked back up with cake :-)

Has anyone tried just eating cakes and biscuits they made themselves? I did to see if it would make me eat less/appreciate it more. It lasted a week, but I still think it was a good idea 😂

There are quite a few vegan banoffee cupcake/muffin recipes online Linds including how to make the caramel.

roberton - most of the gf bought cakes are pretty rubbish so I mainly only eat what I've baked, it makes me appreciate cake I haven't made myself more.

Good to see that normal service has been resumed DT.

I don't really eat bought cake either. I do eat bought biscuits. I would eat cake in a cafe but I don't go to those any more really :(
