Although I'm so close, I really needed a day off my feet today - too many creaks and groans - and settled for an hour on the turbo.

I had a mild panic earlier in the week when I saw my total on strava was 9.5km/6miles less, but it's done the thing it always seems to do and has missed a run from earlier in the year. I can't work out which one it is otherwise I'd have helpdesked it.

18 up now, and I still think 21 will make it, as everyone else has less than a long run to go to make it. Illness hit here, so just as well I got mine in by the 28th. Will try and run tomorrow, after 2 rest days.

will check out on a bit over 1,600...happy enough with that after illness and arthritis. Will be on the thread again next year and intend to get the 2,000! Hmm..we'll see.

Cheers all.

I did a bit more orienteering this morning to bring me up to 3233km/2009miles for the year, although my toe tendon strain from a couple of weeks back is grumbling on. I hope I can get that sorted soon - I don't want to start 2018 like I did 2017, playing catch-up.

Something odd has happened to the 2000ers table today.

Yep only 4 people on it? Well we were up to 20 with one more who could get over (BSC). Let's hope it resolves itself.

Oranj and Chrisull - see Fetch's blog, he's cleared everyone's targets out ( strange to do it with just a couple of days left I thought ). Those that are there must have re-added themselves
