It hasn't started raining yet, so I believe that it is waiting for 9am, when it will start belting down, with thunder and lightning for good measure đŠâď¸ Take care everyone!

Everyone I know wants retirement to happen! The only downside to retirement is that there are fewer years left and like it or not physically out best years are done!! Five miles this morning in what really were perfect conditions. The overnight rain had gone...but now it's mid way for local park runners and it's raining. No wind though.

Morning all we have a bad day forecast here and the rain has just started. Hope to find a reprieve as I need to go into town for some gifts shopping.
I ran yesterday and did 6.5 up to 21 already this month canât grumble only 18 weeks PO. Trying to be sensible.
Some great miles being done and hope youâll stay here when you move to the 1500 goal DR.
My pension figures finally came in. Massive drop to go next year compared to 65 but happy with a smaller number we wonât be flush but weâll have enough. Despite me loving travelling and having an expensive running hobby we donât need much else after bills (once the boat is gone). Happy to have less money and more life. I will probably entertain myself volunteering at races many give free or reduced entries into other events and I love volunteering although so far only done it for my running club and park runs.

Well done Steve for this mornings 5 miles.
Well done GG for yesterday's 6.5 miles.
This mornings Bartley Park parkrun, went well, and was rain free. I was pleased with my 29.30 which is my quickest there this year. 1stAG 75-80 and WAVA of 69.57%. 119th of 193,which is the highest number of runners since inception.

Thanks Dubairunner, and well done for this evenings 3.65 miles in the heat.
Well done Peter for your morning parkrun and afternoon swim/sauna. Your 600 miles to date is very impressive.
It's been raining heavily all afternoon, and has only just stopped. It's forecast dry for tomorrow, but I'll believe it, when I see it.
