Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Well done Sombrero! Plenty of weeks left to add to the total or relax a bit!
Great that you're nearing the end of RTS Looby and you're first 100 month for ages. Torey is out of her boot but still on crutches, doing exercises thrive daily as directed by her physio. Won't be running until new year though.
No Farmer's Walk hs?! Delivery instead?!!
Yes Lesley, an exercise based stress test. Should take about an hour. Wow to your 13 miles in what is much colder temperatures than down here. Great running.
Glad you're on the mend Jaks and that you're putting in good miles as usual FF.

Steve, I drove back from the village and to the supermarket.

It is forecast below zero tomorrow morning, so I'll probably wear a woolly hat and thicker gloves.

We have a little sprinkle of snow this morning. Icy underneath it by the looks of it. Hoping it's not too icy for a run early tomorrow.

Two miles is better than nothing Steve.

Well done for this mornings 2 miles Steve, they all count.

Fingers crossed for tomorrow Lesley, that it won't be too icy for your run tomorrow Lesley.

This morning was 4.79 miles in the forest with the Wednesday Crew. It comprised run out and back and 6 hill reps with 30 metres sprints on the gravel track over the top.

Garmin Connect stated "Detraining" Absolutely ridiculous after a tough structured session.

gg, it does seem ridiculous how long things have taken for my "tests" but in fairness I was very lucky last December to get a full CT heart scan and an angiogram scan. They are usually given to people with clear heart conditions and who are compromised re pain or/and mobility. The issue with lungs was picked up as a sort of "aside" and then it was me pursuing that through my GP who had to make necessary referral. And the months slipped by. Private tests would have been swifter of course but would have been costly. Lucky too to get an exercise stress test on the NHS given that I am more mobile than when it's usually offered. I'm grateful.
