Looks good. Same weekend as Windermere, though, which I'm doing again. If he puts it on in 2015, though...

Hi Marts, I ran North Norfolk Marathon both in 2012 and 2013. Its a great event, very scenic two lap course around the Holkham Estate and on to the Norfolk Coast Path and through the town of Wells. Good aid stations, nice medal and t shirt at the finish, will be there again in May !!

I did North Norfolk last year.....although I agree the course is lovely the organisation left a lot to be desired! The people on aid stations didn't really know what to do, although very friendly...they didn't know if there was a sweeper, if the last person had gone through etc. I knew I was near the back and was telling them there was 2 people behind me....although one of these pulled at after the first lap (not known to me or the marshals) Very few aid stations to be honest, definitely not the usual amount expected for marathon distance.
Finish area was chaos as they had the kids races going on as us back marathon runners were finishing! rather glad there were NO photographers as would look lovely crossing the line with 5-8 year old being pulled along by pushy parents while crying! Then try and get a medal/goodly bag with gawd knows how many kids crowding round....only to realise the medal was the same no matter if you did the kids fun run, half or full! Nice t-shirt though which I do actually wear. I had entered this years event, but then heard rumours that the organisers 4shore hadn't paid bills etc. Then the problem with the website....all left a bad feeling...plus no response to emails I have sent. Shame it COULD be a great event with the right organisers. I'm in two minds whether to attend this year as have entered....will wait till nearer the time to decide.

That's what i thought Lisrun
There were races on the calendar I wasn't aware of.
I like the idea of the Meadows one in Edinburgh - I like a bit of pressure & a 4 hour time limit adds a bit of pressure - for me, not for some I realise.
