Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I just did a long run, I guess this is what you do when you don't have a marathon at the weekend

It's what I do Gobster:)
Not long back in from 14 over the NDW with Lady Alton, we ran the finish route for the Pilgrims next weekend, Reigate Hill down to Merstham & back again, then I ran back home. Feeling really good at the mo so i'm hoping the remnants of this virus have finally gone. When I say good, it's because I don't feel like I need a lung transplant for the first time in ages.

Thanks for the info on the Alaskan sun maras, they do sound appealing. I was half considering Helsinki in August as 10 in 10 Chris is out there with his daughter, but I may not run any more marathons at all after Stockholm in May.

Good to see Richmond finally going ahead. I won't be there, but may do Halstead the weekend after, that's a great race that I missed last year and it's 3 weeks out from Stokkers.

Long runs are horrific btw, had a hideous 15 miles this morning. But very good to see Ogee's on the mend :-)

Did it last year Kaz, small and friendly atmosphere with 2 loops mainly through the town and short stretch over a golf course. Hardly an inspired route but all in a good cause - it is to date the only marathon where I have had to wait at a pelican crossing. Going back this year to double with Richmond hopefully.

Ta paul, am quite tempted I must say. Not too far from home which makes it rather appealing.

Does 11 miles count as a long run ? Probably not, then again I should be doing around double that tomorrow.

LOL MX, I don't see anything under 20 as a long run.

Good job I like being out there doing them.
