The BRAT Club believes that physical fitness is a really important part of being healthy and happy. We welcome anyone who is keen to try athletics, triathlon, or simply running and training with a club. Our training sessions are friendly, fun and will get you fitter. We offer something for everyone, young and old, juniors and families, complete novices and experienced competitors, coaches, officials and social members. We encourage volunteers – the club is run entirely by volunteers.

Monday

Long Run (Midlands Arts Centre)
19:00
Meet at the Midlands Arts Centre (MAC) by Cannon Hill Park on the car park side of the building at 19:00. Do between 7 and 10 miles (see website for route). Usually 3 ability groups, A @ 7:00mm, B @ 8:15mm and C @ 9:00mm. Speeds vary depending on the leaders, attendees, distance, route, etc. Recommend that you learn the routes in advance if you're going to be significantly faster or slower than these times. Come ready to run, no showers or proper changing facilities. Toilets and refreshments available in the MAC. Bags stored in cars if needed.

19:00
Meet at the University of Birmingham Students' Union at 19:00. Usually circuits on or around campus with a focus on speed/hills which is suitable for all abilities. Circuits are normally short so you can set your own pace without the fear of getting lost. Come ready to run, no changing facilities. Toilets available on campus.
