- Fraserburgh Half: 18 Nov 2012 (as near to sub-2 as I can manage, which may not be very near); Lochaber Marathon: 14 Apr 2013 (sub-4:30 target), oh and maybe a wee small ultra in March 2013.....*Yorkshire Pie*
October 2012 Beachy Head – plan is to get round, maybe about 5 hours if I\\\'m feeling good, April 2013 Brighton – sub 4? Plan after that to be determined by how much work there still is to do...*oooobbbaahhh*

Maintain HR training for rest of 2012, increasing mileage by 10% a month - Done: 191 miles logged in April 2013. Now aiming for 200+ miles a month.Target races:
Gosport half 18/11/2012. Aim at 1.45 and see what happens. - Mysteriously could not maintain planned pace after only 5 miles and struggled to 1.52.43.
Greater Manchester marathon. 28/04/2013. First one, so set a target a bit slower than I might be capable of, to be decided nearer the time. - Targeted 9 min/m and pretty much achieved it: 3.56.40.
Next target race Abingdon marathon 20/10/2013. Target to be set nearer the time.

Build mileage through the winter, establish a good aerobic base, run a Half Marathon PB at Gt Bentley in Feb, Run a 3.45 marathon at Brighton 2013, reassess targets then.*Zeb*
Consistent injury free training throughout winter. Keeping long run to around 2 hours, and speedwork once or twice a week (in form of cross-country race or hill reps with club). Rest of running at easy pace. Sleaford HM 24th Feb, and definite sub 1.50 target. Lincoln 10k 7th April - sub 50 target.*ReturnoftheJuddi*
Build mileage through to December when I will start a marathon training plan for VLM. Will attempt to go as close to 5hrs as I can. Stay injury free is my number one priority. I must reach the start line in one, fully functional piece. Next steps will probably involve some 10k\\\'s and half\\\'s but I dont want to get ahead of myself - lets see how I go over the next 6 months.*SmileyBob*
Current Marathon PB 5:01:15, GFA Target time 3:101 mile in 7:07 quicker than GFA Pace @ The Big Fetch Mile 10/11/12
H/M down to 1:57:09 @ Blackpool GNW Feb 2013
Rough plan:
Following some advice, once Manchester mara the rest of 2013 will be about 5km/10km. 2014 about 10mile to H/M pace, 2015 Half to 20mile pace and then attempt will be at London in 2016

PB for marathon so far Loch Ness 30/09/12 4:42:45Would like to beat that at Liverpool on 14th Oct but not going to break my neck trying. See how I feel on the day.
Planning on spending the winter months building a good strong core along with general strength training and building upon fitness levels, maintaining at least one LSR of 10-13 miles a week.
Aiming for a sub 4:30 around March/April, hopefully at Barcelona if I can afford it. Considering starting the 55 mile/18 week P&D after VLM for an autumn Marathon.

Doing St Neot's half marathon to try to gauge what my starting point really is. Very much hoping for sub-2. PB is 1:53 but doubt I will get anywhere near that. Managed sub 2:10, which was the revised goal.Brighton marathon in April. Concentrating on building a base so will just see what pace I do on the day. Then aiming for more speedwork in the build up for Abingdon. Hopeful thoughts for a sub-4 there but will have to see if that's feasible after Brighton. Main aim at the moment is to not succumb to illness between now and Brighton.
