Enjoyed the race and knocked 4 minutes off last years time.
Felt abit better than did @ Blaydon but still struggling to keep the pace going in the later stages of the race
nice night for the race. not exactly the best preparation for this by pretty much no running the week before this then straight into a race but finished 10th, felt tired throughout but i guess thats the lack of running before hand
Ha! Ha!
have a blast at sub 50..doubt it though..beautiful run this..*update*ran 50.58..pleased with that as its my fastest time since 2006 on this course..the 5th mile of 8.33 knacked any chance of sub 50..happy..sore shin though..
Tried to catch Goicha - got within 5 yards and he pulled away about 600 yds from finish!
I started okay but the knee injury that I thought had gone.. appeared again 3 miles in.. the last 3.5 miles seemed to drag so much for me as I pretty much limped home. Was pleased to get it over with. Not running for a while now :-(
Did better than last year, legs felt heavy towards end of race
