Dave_K Went off far too quickly and suffered for it. Struggled 10 - 12 miles. Found at the finish my nipple was bleeding from my T shirt rubbing ! Never had that happen before! Will have to tape or vaseline them next run. Unaffiliated 1:41:20 1:46:53 2:00:21 50.23
Supervixen Hoping to pb here, you never know!! Update, sorry to those who bet on me, time says it all. Found the conditions really difficult along with hamstring pull not a good combination. Hope for no lasting damage. Unaffiliated 1:56:24 1:56:24 1:59:00 2:08:40 52.11

ChrisU Expecting this to be flat, so perhaps sub 1:17 is possible. Thanks for the enormous number of bets. I've heard this course isn't as flat as I thought, but I'm still going to aim for sub 1:17. POST RUN > Well, the PB is in the bag, but not without a fight. Mainly with my bowels. Had desperate urge at 9 miles and vanished into a field to achieve some relief. Then spent the remaining 4 miles trying to claw back 2nd position. Just made it back into 2nd place with about 400m to go. A big relief to cross the line, but with seriously sore insides. Baza Likely to still be recovering from the 'Tour'. Update - Was doing fine till about 7mile then hamstring started tightening up a bit so stopped to stretch it then hoped to run it of. Was fine till 10 mile then it started again. Walked and ran 11 & 12, then got a glimpse of the time and made a concerted effort to run the last 1.1mile. Nice course, slippy in a couple of places given the wet conditions. Be back next year though for a better run. Carnegie Harriers 1:23:13 1:26:03 1:40:00 1:45:54 55.13
