About Me
I took to running very gradually. As a kid I would never walk anywhere I would run, then I got into cycling. Fast Forward about 15 years of doing very little exercise, but staying remakably slim and I start to run a bit with my wife, primarily because we needed to get fit for our great Yosemite adventure and climbing Half Dome (2006). This we did :) So what next...why a marathon of course. Despite injury at the beginning of 2007 which made us bow out of Paris, we finally did Berlin in Oct 2007. That experience has made me want to do more longer distance runs, I think because it feels like more of an achievement, although that's not to say doing a quicker shorter distance isn't great too. I think I just like the endurance aspect of it.
