About Me
Started running in 2004 when i did the Bupa Greater Manchester10k without any training because i took an injured friends place. Finished it in just under an hour and got the bug! even though i couldn't move the next day. I then did my first half marathon in March 2005 (Wilmslow) in just under 2 hours. My first marathon was New York 2007 with a finish time of 3hrs 45 and then I did London 2009 in 3hrs 38. I have also done one Ultramarathon, the high peak 40 but my itb's really weren't pleased with me. I run 3-4 times a week to keep fit and de-stress! I also love how it keeps the weight off!!! I had a good for age place for London 2010 but deferred it to 2011 as I got pregnant and gave birth to my gorgeous baby boy 'Spencer' in November. I am just returning to regular running now and probably won't have time to train for a marathon so my plan now is to enjoy my running as time to myself and for fitness and weight management.
