clairster very hard, very windy on the 2nd lap and I was gone by 7miles. legs lost any ability they had and the second half was really, really hard! Not one of my most favourite days out. race was well organised and the course would havebeen great had I been feeling on form Stockport Harriers & AC 1:41:11 1:43:07 1:47:17 60.12
LC Darwen Dashers RC 1:26:22 1:26:22 1:26:36 76.48
Marcus Enjoyed this one - just a bit on the breezy side on the way up to Bispham but otherwise great conditions. Big field too, although surprisingly only 1100 odd finished from an alleged 1500 on the start line. Enjoyed the views of the snow-covered Coniston Fells from the lower walk.

Well-organised and fast - Ron's back on form. Lots of water on the course - but hardly needed in the ideal temperature this morning! Vale Royal AC, Fell Runners Association 1:24:12 1:32:49 1:35:00 1:32:49 63.98

shorty25 Vey plased with my time, it was very windy on the bottom leg but still managed a PB. 9 mins quicker than last yr. York Knavesmire Harriers 1:43:05 1:43:29 1:43:29 62.30
Stevie B Started off well despite a worry with my ankle but then after about 4 miles I started to slow down with trouble in my right leg. Despite this and blisters coming on my right foot I managed to carry on. Jelly babies were provided at the drink stations and somebody gave me some other sweets for energy although I didn't feel that tired but couldn't find a rhythm (my race photos supports this view). However for the last few miles I started to speed up again and was almost at a sprint when someone tried to overtake me (you know your doing badly when you see a little old lady overtake you) but I still managed to beat the chicken though. However my heroism had its costs. I had a massive blister on the side of my right foot (which I popped) and couldn't walk properly afterwards (I am beginning to find my feet again now). I was hoping for a better time but I will have a chance of getting a new PB at my next half. Unaffiliated 1:37:59 1:50:42 1:50:42 52.81
Tri Foxy A PB and Marcus still beat me!! Mersey-Tri 1:36:07 1:36:07 1:40:00 1:36:07 64.24
