Oops, said it all in return run first! Copy and paste...
Well that was interesting. A 10.5 mile run day midweek, can only mean commute running! Well, dropping off car at garage running! But it was the office I went to. For first time in 6 months! To the day!! 23 March I started at this company, and 23 Sep total coincidence, had to change my laptop and was day car was booked in for its 6 month delayed MOT. So, as have done before, drop car and run in to office. Only I slightly under remembered (is that a word?!) the distance. Thought 3 or 4 miles, actually 5.25! So got in a bit late for 9am meeting, 9.27 by time I got logged in and Teams working (would have been 9.15 if it was in person!) Had previously warned them and we were able to continue until 9.45 so covered what we needed, which was all fine. Then left at 4.30 to get to garage to pick up, drove back to office (not just cos dedicated but didn't want to carry back pack with laptop in it on the run! V. heavy!) Did a few more emails and left at 6.30. Nice to be in office, to chat to people, have a coffee and sandwich made by someone else. Realise how much it saves me though - 10 quid on coffee and sandwiches 22 days a month and £150 a month for train ticket or even £100 a month for petrol and parking. It all adds up!
