baggieboy Well i've ended the year with a joint PB, which wasn't bad considering that the last three weeks training wasn't my best effort. As for the race again the weather was great eventhough the temperture was a little bit warmer than i expected. The organisation was first class and i'm looking forward to next years event. Blister I've never had so much fun doing a 10K. I didn't know what I was wearing until about 40 minutes before the race start! It turned out to be a sexy ladies Santa suit with stockings. Felt very strange wearing it and got a few strange looks by about 1000 people and a few whistles from some blokes! We started at the back and I got some video footage during the first couple of k's. We stopped a few times to get our picture taken and to chat to people and kept on dashing back and forward between people we knew etc. Stuck in about half a k at race pace towards the end for a bit of fun then jogged back a bit. Had an exiting sprint finish with a lady who was determined to beat us, we had to keep her going though because she ran out of steam with about 30 meters to go!
