Alun Went for it and hoped that my hamstring would be okay, hard out from the start with Paul MOSES​ and Kev Howarth, watching Neill Wright​ and Harriette Woolley​ draw clear in front. Didn't panic and just kept on pushing, went through halfway in 14:48 and 5km in 18:24, caught and passed Harriette just before the little climb through the trees on the way back. Heading towards the finish into the wind was tough, I was definitely hanging on at the end and fought right to the finish line to retain 16th place and first M55. Great turnout from the club with complete men's and women's teams, PBs, club records and three age category wins. Gun time of 30:01, chip time of 29:59 and a forty seconds PB & club record!! 🏃🏻💪💪 Medway & Maidstone AC 29:59 29:59 31:00 29:59 84.24
