About this parkrun

One-lap parkrun that consists of nearly 3 km of mostly gaining altitude before 2 km of gravity assisted running. Hard packed earth paths with some stones underfoot, lovely view from the top as you come back towards the lake.

Single-lap, hard fire trail. Suitable for light trail or road shoes. 1st 2.8K climbs 70m before dropping 66m to 4.8K then climbs 5m in the final 200m. Easy parking (pay & display), toilets & cafe.

Undulating off road course in the Forest of Dean. Paths are wide, compacted gravel and it's a slow drag up to about 1.7 miles then downhill and finish uphill for the last 200 metres

Lovely course, road shoes fine in most conditions. Hill not as bad as expected.
