funkin I had planned to run this easy, and to be honest I think I did. Confidence was good as I don't believe a single person ran past me after the first 1/2k. I just took people off one by one - most fun! Tomorrow I'm racing hard so didn't want to kill myself today and I'm very pleased with how I did.

Kieren Perfect conditions - bright but not too warm. Huge field today with about 350 runners!! Heart rate went through the roof taking me to a new max I think (204) but it could be a mistake on the watches part. Really happy that I came in under the estimate but I'm way off form. Onwards & upwards as they say. *watch time till official results get posted*
