Biastai Wow! Don't know why I was so slow :-) I think this is a tough course for some reason/reasons. I ran with a friend and had what was probably the slowest race start I have ever ran. Nightjar My first lap of the 2 lap course went pretty much to plan and I was nicely on target for a 3:50 finish time. Then at 15 miles I was reduced to the penguin shuffle due to calf tightening up. Seeing the clock ticking towards 4:30 made me forget all the pain and really push for the line - those last 385 yards were the fastest that I ran the whole day.
