    Sweaty Frank: Took just under 14 hours to complete the double-crossing of the canyon,with over 11,000 feet in elevation gain.

    becca7: Hard to say, but I did walk the steeper rises.
    Loon: If you are doing the double cross (rim to rim to rim), I recommend early October over mid-November.
