The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

I cant get over the scale of it, and I do wish they would stop blaming everyone, it was the b****y weather after all :-(

well its rain all week on and off over here in morecambe and can believe the weather in the lakes is terrible as only about 20 miles away :)

I think it's quite impressive to do a sub 25 5k and then a 4:10 marathon 3 hours away within the space of a couple of house...

:p That actually just evens it up for the marathon I ran without getting an official time. At NY if you're a guide runner you have the same number as the person you're guide running and you have one chip between you, in their name. Which means you can't look me up and see just how slowly I ran it...
