Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I'm with NSC on this one. Start with the white before dinner and then start the red with dinner!

back from the garden centre, and of course had to check out the xmas display, and ermmm things just happened to fall into my basket, I really don't know how they got in there :-) Still, I am doing Xmas dinner this year even though not my turn and having the inlaws round so want to do a more grown up xmas decoration theme, K has been told the tinsel is now relagated to her bedroom :-) and I bought her some pink glittery baubles for the tree she has in her bedroom :-)

Yorkshire Pie (YP1)
The advantage of always going away at Christmas and living alone is that I very rarely feel compelled to decorate. I might make more of an effort this year because I'm only away for a couple of days over christmas itself and at home for the rest of the time round christmas.

Although that would involve going into the attic for the tree. I don't like going up there when I'm in the house alone in case the ladder falls down while I'm up :(

i saw a beautiful gold metal spiral tree that plugs in and sparkles - very classy and just the right size for on the windowsill - might be the sort of thing for you YP1. (I daren't buy yet another tree - I already have a fibre optic for the window sill and a plastic tree I decorate that is about 4ft cos I have nowhere to put my 6ft now I have a different suite)
