Actually ITV 4 is both good and bad. It shows sports that don't get mainstream coverage (good) but cuts to adverts too often (bad) AND has a very limited selection of adverts (i.e. you may get to see the same advert multiple times during an hour long programme.

Absolutely short-sighted reactionary over-conservative t0ssers in Islington council shutting down Fabric nightclub, when only two months ago it was highlighted by a judge a fine example of best practice.
When will these complete and utter morons understand that a progressive policy with education and harm prevention is the right way to go. Prohibition only drives the problem underground. Still, when did evidence ever form a part of policy making?
Not only that, we're faced with losing one of the most important and groundbreaking cultural venues in the country. FFS.
Still, fiver says within months there will be planning permission for some new flats in a prime piece of London...

TB - Islington is a well-known left-leaning local authority, and I think there have been a couple of drug related deaths at Fabric.

I'm quite aware of the drug related deaths. These can possibly be prevented if clubs are allowed to provide testing services to clubbers to let them know what they're taking. This worked successfully at the Secret Garden Party this year and also at the Warehouse Project in Manchester. Sometimes the pills are duds, sometimes they're cut with all manner of stuff and there's also a new superstrength brand of MDMA on the streets. It's better to accept that drug taking will occur at some level (yes, do keep doing searches on the way in) and to try to mitigate rather than drive it all into uncontrolled and illegal places. That's a far more dangerous solution.
Given that there are far more alcohol related deaths than MDMA related ones, we should be shutting down all supermarkets, pubs and off-licences based on the rationale of Islington Council. Or since traces of coke have been found in the toilets of the Houses of Parliament, perhaps we should close them as clearly their screening practices aren't good enough and they're enabling a culture of taking.

Being called Ma'am.
Our head of information management taking up residence near my desk.
The loud w*nkers in the project team and their lack of volume control or understanding that no one else is interested in the tiny details of some obscure IT infrastructure project. And they are think they're funny.
Our partner organisation and it's inability to do anything at pace.
Sky and OpenReach and their inability to get broadband and telly to our new home.
Thameslink and its lackadaisical approach to running a train service.
